This is a very exciting opportunity to step into a senior marketing leadership role with a high-growth disruptor reshaping how fans connect with live entertainment.

Built on technology, data and strategic partnerships, this business is challenging a long-established industry model, reimagining how audiences discover, engage with and experience live events. In a category traditionally dominated by incumbents, they are setting a new benchmark for customer experience, platform capability and commercial performance.

Backed by a globally established organisation with significant scale and expertise, the ANZ business is in a rapid growth phase, combining international capability with strong local investment to accelerate its footprint across Australia and New Zealand.

Supported by a global marketing function, this role will translate global strategy into a high-performing regional approach, adapting frameworks to local audiences, partners and commercial priorities to drive meaningful impact in-market.

The Role:

As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of regional marketing strategy across a dynamic portfolio of events, venues and partners.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance strategic thinking with executional excellence, driving audience growth, ticket sales and engagement across a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

You will act as a trusted marketing partner to senior stakeholders across venues, promoters and internal teams, leading integrated campaigns from planning through to optimisation and performance analysis.

In addition to delivering high-impact campaigns, you will play a key role in building and shaping the regional marketing capability, helping to develop a high-performing team, embedding best practice ways of working, and lifting overall marketing effectiveness across the ANZ business. As the function grows, you will have the opportunity to influence structure, develop talent and create a team culture grounded in performance, collaboration and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of regional marketing strategy, translating commercial goals into high-impact, multi-channel campaigns
  • Own end-to-end campaign delivery, from planning through to optimisation and performance analysis
  • Act as a trusted marketing partner to clients, agency partners, venues and stakeholders, driving engagement, attendance and fan growth
  • Use data and insights to inform strategy, optimise performance and continuously improve outcomes
  • Oversee integrated campaigns across CRM, digital, paid, social and partnerships, ensuring consistency and cut-through
  • Identify and activate partnership and distribution opportunities to maximise reach and revenue
  • Manage budgets and performance, optimising spend to deliver strong commercial returns
  • Support client acquisition activities through written submissions and face to face pitching, showcasing marketing capability and strategic planning
  • Champion brand standards while elevating the end-to-end customer experience
  • Mentor and support team members, contributing to a high-performing, collaborative culture
  • Stay ahead of trends and bring fresh thinking to continuously evolve marketing effectiveness
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in senior marketing or campaign leadership roles in complex, fast-paced environments, high-traffic, consumer-facing digital environments or platform-based businesses (e.g. marketplaces, e-commerce, travel, media, sport or entertainment ecosystems) is highly regarded live entertainment, sport, venues or events
  • Strong track record delivering integrated, multi-channel campaigns with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across clients, partners and senior leaders
  • Strong digital, CRM and performance marketing capability, including optimisation and measurement
  • Highly developed project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets and driving ROI
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and storytelling ability
  • Experience adapting global frameworks into local market strategies (highly regarded)
  • An A-game attitude—you’re energised by pace, change and variety. You build relationships quickly, adapt to shifting priorities with ease, and thrive in an environment where the week moves fast and no two days are the same.
Who you are:

You show up with energy, accountability and a team-first mindset. You care about doing great work, building strong relationships, and delivering experiences that resonate with both clients and audiences. You’re proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable sitting in the “grey” getting into the detail to drive campaigns through to real, measurable impact.
