We are inviting expressions of interest for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, planning and delivery of marketing activity across a high-profile events and precinct environment.
This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for shaping and localising the marketing strategy across the Australia & New Zealand market , while leading a high-performing team and working closely with global stakeholders.
The Opportunity As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the regional marketing strategy — translating global direction into locally relevant, commercially impactful campaigns.
You will lead a team of five across key marketing disciplines, while acting as the central point of alignment between local execution and global strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership
- Own and deliver the AU & NZ marketing strategy, aligned to global objectives
- Localise global campaigns and frameworks to suit regional audiences and market dynamics
- Identify growth opportunities across audience, revenue and brand positioning
- Partner with the CEO on strategic planning and business priorities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of five across marketing functions
- Set clear priorities, workflows and performance expectations
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative and commercially focused culture
- Act as the key liaison between global marketing teams and local execution
- Ensure alignment between global strategy and regional delivery
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships across internal and external partners
- Provide regular updates on performance, insights and opportunities
- Oversee the end-to-end campaign lifecycle: announcement, presale, on-sale, upsell, event comms and post-event activity
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand and aligned to commercial objectives
- Oversee media strategy, including audience targeting, budgets and performance
- Ensure integration across CRM, paid media, social, customer communications and data
- Ensure robust tracking, attribution and reporting frameworks are in place
- Oversee campaign performance, reporting and optimisation
- Translate data and insights into actionable strategy and continuous improvement
- Ensure marketing activity follows best-practice governance, approvals and processes
- Maintain oversight of budgets, planning and performance outcomes
- 8+ years’ experience in senior marketing or marketing leadership roles
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing marketing teams
- Strong background across integrated campaigns, digital, CRM and paid media
- Experience working with global teams and localising international strategies
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link marketing to revenue outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Report directly to the CEO and shape regional marketing strategy
