We are inviting expressions of interest for a Data & Insights Manager to lead marketing reporting, performance analysis and audience insights across a dynamic portfolio of large-scale events.
This role is ideal for someone who can turn complex data into clear, commercially-driven insights — connecting marketing activity directly to revenue, audience growth and performance outcomes.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing (ANZ), you will play a critical role in shaping data-led decision making — delivering reporting, dashboards and actionable insights across marketing and ticketing activity.
This is not a data engineering role. It is focused on marketing insights, performance and commercial impact .
Key Responsibilities :
Reporting & Dashboards
- Develop and maintain marketing and ticketing performance dashboards
- Deliver weekly, monthly and campaign-level reporting
- Track key metrics including sales, conversion, audience growth and ROI
- Build precinct-wide reporting across events and stakeholder groups
- Forecast demand and support lifecycle marketing strategy
- Analyse customer behaviour (purchase patterns, timing, location, frequency)
- Develop audience profiles and segmentation insights
- Identify high-value audiences and growth opportunities
- Provide recommendations to improve targeting, timing and campaign performance
- Support the development of broader audience growth strategies
- Measure marketing contribution to ticket sales
- Analyse paid media performance and return on ad spend
- Track database growth and engagement metrics
- Support budget allocation decisions through data and insights
- Partner with lifecycle and CRM teams on segmentation and audience logic
- Collaborate with central data teams on data sources and infrastructure
- Ensure alignment between marketing, ticketing and financial reporting
- Present insights and performance results to senior stakeholders
- Support monthly and quarterly performance reviews
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable commercial recommendations
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing analytics, insights or reporting roles
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker or similar)
- SQL skills (preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience working with large datasets and marketing/sales data
- Strong understanding of marketing performance and ticketing metrics
- Ability to translate data into clear, commercially relevant insights
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, data and commercial teams
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred)
- Play a key role in shaping data-driven marketing strategy
- Work across a high-volume, fast-paced and commercially focused environment
- Influence decision making through insights that directly impact revenue and growth
