We’re looking for a Customer Engagement Manager
to join our growing marketing team. This role is perfect for a marketer with a CRM, loyalty, or customer lifecycle background
who is ready to step into a leadership role while still staying close to the work.

, shaping engagement strategies that drive retention and customer loyalty, while coaching and developing a small team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the development and execution of customer engagement, CRM and loyalty campaigns across the full lifecycle – from acquisition to retention, working with an array of clients from diverse industry sectors..
- Manage and mentor 2 direct reports, ensuring clarity, growth and performance.
- Partner with the GM of Marketing to deliver strategic initiatives and contribute to broader marketing planning.
- Oversee the end-to-end EDM process – content strategy, build, segmentation, scheduling, optimisation and reporting.
- Own the customer engagement calendar , ensuring campaigns are timely, targeted, and data-led.
- Provide strategic advice and performance insights to internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline campaign delivery, test new approaches and scale capability.
- Collaborate across marketing, digital, and partnerships teams to ensure campaigns deliver on commercial outcomes.
- 5+ years’ experience in CRM, loyalty, or lifecycle marketing roles.
- A mix of strategic and hands-on skills – comfortable driving big-picture planning while rolling up your sleeves when needed.
- Proven success designing and delivering engagement campaigns that improve retention and customer value.
- Experience managing people, with a track record of developing team capability.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or similar).
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fully remote role (Melbourne based team, flexible working)
