Are you a strategic CRM leader ready to own and elevate the customer lifecycle for a dynamic portfolio of consumer retail brands? We’re partnering with a high-performing retail group looking for a commercially-minded Group CRM Manager to drive customer retention, loyalty, and growth across both online and offline channels.

About the Role As the Group CRM Manager, you'll take charge of the end-to-end CRM strategy and execution across multiple established retail brands. You will own the customer database architecture, lead best-in-class marketing automation, and develop omnichannel programs that fuel brand love and commercial performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic thinking with executional excellence—perfect for someone who thrives on data-driven insights and wants to see real impact across a nationally recognised retail footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver multi-brand CRM strategies to improve customer engagement and retention
  • Drive lifecycle marketing programs across email, SMS, letterbox and digital channels
  • Own the CRM platform (Emarsys) architecture, automation flows, and data integrity
  • Lead campaign development—triggered, promotional, win-back and beyond
  • Use segmentation, customer insights and performance data to inform activity and drive ROI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, eCommerce, retail and IT teams
  • Manage and mentor a CRM team, fostering innovation and accountability
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and uphold best practices in customer data governance
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years’ experience in CRM and marketing automation, ideally within a retail or agency setting
  • A proven track record in developing CRM strategies that deliver measurable commercial results
  • Experience with platforms like Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar
  • High-level data and analytical skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to build business cases for CRM investments
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A passion for customer loyalty, technology, and continuous improvement
